Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins, who is she is a Mexican American journalist. Her current job is with ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and, occasionally, host SportsNation. She began working for ESPN at the end of 2016. Her mother is the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been bilingual since the age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first work at Univision, Miami. She worked with producers from across the country on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. They hired her as an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. Her move from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. They moved at some point towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November 1985. She is older than her sister. In 1992, the family relocated from Mexico and relocated to Miami. Her parents divorced shortly after and in 1995, she got married to an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister and her sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl got work. Still a senior in high school, and having an idea of what she wanted to do for her life, Antonietta was able to visit The University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her goals. It was discovered that she enjoyed the university, and the university offered the program she desired. After graduation, she enrolled at the university as a media studies major. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, established a long-lasting relationship with her. He guided her to become confident in herself and his enthusiasm for journalism deeply affected her, and she in turn, tried to exceed the expectations of him and not fail him.
